This autumn’s trends are all about achieving the ‘natural’ look, with just subtle hints of colour to add brightness to the complexion. For natural, flawless coverage choose foundations that create beautiful, long-lasting cover and then ‘set’ with translucent powder. A good quality mineral based powder with soft, fine particles leaves your skin looking smooth and radiant thanks to its optical reflectors. Congratulations to Frances Mcloughlin on achieving Sales Leader in September! This is a major achievement as Frances only rejoined Nutrimetics in the summer and has built a new team in a very short space of time. It is so exciting as it makes the Nutrimetics Christmas launch in Dublin on the 16th October a double celebration! First, of course, is the launch of the new products, including nc New York Chic make up and now we can also celebrate Frances achievement.

New York Chic meets Nutrimetics in London is their biggest event of the year.
The latest in Autumn looks leading into Christmas glamour is the theme of the much awaited special brochure being launched on October 9th at The Marriott Hotel, Windsor.

The Brighton Belles will lead with the Beautiful Body party & winter holiday workshop.
Followed by the Sex and The City quartet exploring the newest fashion make up looks for both Autumn and the party season. Skin care and Age prevention are as important as ever, and of course there are gorgeous gift ideas for Christmas presents.

Latest skin care beliefs are that prevention is better than cure which is music to my ears. So instead of anti-ageing the wording will be skin protection , pH balancing , regenerating or nurturing.

Skincare cannot be based on the client’s age alone! Their lifestyle reflects in their skin more than their age, with modern day living factors such as stress, computers, diet, air conditioning and smoking contributing to accelerating the ageing process.

Skin care houses are targeting anti-ageing remedies at women of all ages, but moving the term anti-ageing to preventative. After all, it is a fact that cell renewal slows down in the early to mid 20’s, so the ageing process starts here.

Using a pH balanced daily skin care routine helps slow the ageing process as ‘balancing’ the skin helps it to work efficiently, protecting against the free radicals which can cause so much damage.

My tip? Start with a daily 3 step pH balancing skin care programme and add Ultra-Care products as and when you feel you need them. This is so effective and will save you lots of money at the same time.

With blush colours, if pink based colours suit you then stay away from bronzers or tanners as they tend to very orangey. Do you really want the 'tangoed' look?

Using Nutrimetics new Mineral Make-up I suggest that pink-based ladies use the Sienna Pink blush duo.

Either use a blusher brush and mix the two colours together and apply in the 'lazy C' way. Or create the high cheek bone look and have more fun by taking the special brush that comes with the compact and wiping it through the darker colour and taking it from the top of the ear in the direction of the corner of the lip (but do stop when level with the bottom of your nose). Now load the brush with the lighter colour and highlight above this line. Voila! ..... beautiful haughty cheek bones with a fresh look.

The London Fashion Show tip for eye colour works brilliantly with the nc Mineral Eye Make-up Trios: just apply the lightest shade all over the eye up to the eyebrow. Now apply the darkest shade all over the eye lid to the crease, and paint a 'flash' of medium colour down the centre of the eyelid. Blend carefully to create the finished look that you desire.

New make-up trends at the London Fashion Show are so easy to follow, especially with the pre-launch of Nutrimetics nc mineral eye make-up. A quick tip is to apply darkest colour across lid, add palest colour from inner corner of eye and sweep up to under the brow, then a dash of the middle colour blending the two! The Holistic Fayre in on this Sunday at the Hawth in Crawley and is open from 10am till 5pm. It is a really popular fayre will a great number of stands and interests and is always well attended. The atmosphere is calm and healing.

I am hoping that I will be able to give a talk in the small theatre, this may be on beating the ageing process or quick and easy skin care - both subjects are always popular! I will be able to put my new skills acquired at the Mole Valley Speakers Toastmasters Club into good use.

I will representing Nutrimetics and look forward to you visiting my stand where I am offering free skin care and make-up advice, or just pop over for a chat!

An interesting day today! First we had a very good review of how my website is working, followed by Mark (from Opnes) suggesting that I start both 'Twittering' and 'Blogging'! So .... I have registered with both, and will start learning what I have to do!
